Shira Rosenzweig is a neuroscientist, writer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. She was born and raised in Israel,
studied in Canada and graduated with a Neuroscience PhD from the University of Toronto before moving to the US to complete her
postdoctoral research at UCLA Neurology. While researching the many mysteries of the brain around the world and navigating the
complexities of biomedical ethics, Shira gained an unconventional perspective on storytelling which she channels into her
creative work.
Shira's creations, including the TV pilot ORTHUS (2018)
(produced by PlayStation) and the short films
THE LAST GIRL (2020) and COME MIDNIGHT (2021), all embody her unique take on science, ethics, and the human condition.
