Shira Rosenzweig is a filmmaker and a neuroscientist based in Los Angeles, California. She was born and raised in Israel, studied in Canada and graduated with a Neuroscience PhD from the University of Toronto before moving to the US. Researching the many mysteries of the brain around the world and navigating the complexities of biomedical ethics, have given her an unconventional perspective on storytelling which she now channels into her creative work. Shira's creations, including the TV pilot ORTHUS (produced by PlayStation), the short film THE LAST GIRL (currently in the festival circuit) and the upcoming short film COME MIDNIGHT, all embody her unique take on the interface between science, ethics and the human condition.
